Below are a list of scheduled training rides:

Around Surrey Cycle
Date: Sunday 27th July
Start Meeting: Guildford Station
Meeting Time: 10.15am
Distance: 30 miles
Transport: Depart Waterloo at 9.30am arrive 10.12am.

Combination of on and off road so mountain bikes essential or at least hybrids with fattish tyres.

Ditchling Beacon Off-Road Cycle Ride
Date: Sunday 3rd August
Start: Hassocks Station
Meeting time: 10.45am
Transport: Depart 9.41 a.m. from London Bridge or depart 9.32am from Victoria.  
Distance: 20 miles
Lunch: Ice-cream stop at 11am, lunch/cake at 1pm in Ditchling.

Ann will be taking us up the long and 'easy' climb up Ditchling Beacon, not the short and very steep ascent, so don't worry......!

Sussex Weald Cycle Ride
Date: Sunday 21st September
Start: Hassocks Station
Meeting time 10.45am
Transport: Depart 9.27 a.m. at London Bridge arriving at East Croydon at 9.45 a.m. changing to the Brighton Train at 9.51 a.m or depart 9.32am from Victoria direct.
Distance: 37 miles
Lunch: Lunch and a coffee break on the way, ending with tea and cake

ICT 'CHARITY SUMMER BALL'

Cycle India participant Ann Anscombe has organised a fundraising Charity Summer Ball. The event takes place at Hove Town Hall on Saturday, 9th August 2008.

Ann describes the venue as fantastic and with a HUGE dance floor! Doors open at 7.00pm for Dinner at 8.00pm. A £50 ticket will cover the Three Course Dinner with wine (courtesy of Chestertons of Ditchling) with dancing afterwards to the Rocsters till 1.00am! £15 ticket for dancing only, admission after 9.30pm.

TRAINING RIDE!

Cycle India participants Rachel Kennedy, Jason Birch, Andy Cole and Ola Rug and braved the wintry conditions to take part in a training ride on Sunday, 6th April.
